The Mainstream Group, located in the beautiful beach city of San Clemente, California, provides a comprehensive group of programs for the treatment of drug and alcohol dependency. In 1987, founders, Richard and Nancy Davis, who are both recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, opened their home to people who needed help and support to stay alcohol and drug-free. Within a few months the increased demand for a clean, sober, and safe living environment became obvious to Mr. and Mrs. Davis and a second residential treatment home was opened.

Today, The Mainstream Group, a nonprofit corporation licensed and certified by the State of California, has grown to seven homes! We provide a wide range of services including a highly structure Residential Treatment Program, a Sober Living Transitional Program, and comprehensive Outpatient and Aftercare services.

Mainstream group facilitators are certified as Certified Addiction Treatment Specialists by The California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators. All of our staff are highly trained and dedicated to our comprehensive and progressive programs that will provide clients with the proficiencies needed to become self-sufficient and productive members of society. Many of our staff are recovering addicts themselves and understand the many manifestations of addiction and the courage it takes to become sober and addiction-free.
